Setting the Memory

1. Do not sit or lie on bed to perform this part of the setup. With the AUTO switch on the remote set to OFF, press the FIRM button until the readout is at .50 PSI.
2. Press and hold both the MEMORY SET and MEMORY RECALL buttons for 5 seconds until the entire display flashes. This ensures that the reset function is working properly.
3. Lie on the bed in your normal sleep position, holding the remote for that side of the bed. Using the SOFT and FIRM buttons, adjust the setting to your desired comfort.
4. Once you have found your comfort setting, press and hold the SET button until remote display flashes three times and your comfort setting reappears. Release the SET button.
5. To ensure the SET operation was successful, press the FIRM button until the readout is at .50 PSI while you are lying on the mattress. Then, press and hold the RECALL button until the readout flashes. Within seconds, the mattress should begin to adjust to your comfort setting. The RECALL button can always be used to adjust your mattress to your individualized comfort setting.
6. Perform steps 1 – 5 for the other side of the mattress.

Setting the AUTO function

1. Make sure the AUTO switch is set to the OFF position. Once you have set the memory as instructed above, get up from the mattress.
2. Press and hold the RECALL button until the remote display readout flashes. This will allow the bed to adjust to your memory setting without you being on it. Wait until the bed is adjusted before proceeding to step 3.
   
   Note: The auto memory function only fills the mattress to your memory setting. It does not completely fill the mattress.
   
   
3. Press the TIMER button until the remote display starts flashing. Then, toggle through the TIMER button until you find the desired number of minutes for the AUTO setting. Settings of 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 20, 30, 45,and 60 minutes are available. This setting is the time that will lapse before your mattress automatically inflates after you and your partner get up.
4. Once you find your desired AUTO setting, release the TIMER button and wait until the display stops flashing. Then, turn the AUTO switch to the ON position.
5. The mattress will automatically adjust to your individualized comfort setting within approximately 30 seconds of lying down, and will adjust to make the bed properly after the time period designated whenever you get up from the mattress.

NOTE:  In order for the auto memory function to work, both sides must be programmed. The timer will start once the last person has gotten out of bed.
